As I Opened Fire is a highly sought after poster that was created for the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam following the museum's purchase of the original painting in 1964.
These lithographic prints were first produced in 1966 (an edition of 3,150 copies) and due to their popularity, subsequent editions were produced in 1974 and 1983 (both an edition of 3,150 copies), 1988, 1990 and 1991 (each an edition of 5,000 copies)
The one we have available is from the 1983 edition of 3,150 copies and is in perfect condition as issued.
